About

Rose is a psychological scientist studying the cognitive architecture of arts-engagement (stories, artistic practices and pieces) and relationships with empathy and sustainability.  She is interested both in how these things are understood and measured, and in their real-world application; she moved into academia following over a decade of experience as a theatre artist taking creative arts interventions into education, criminal justice and social care (particularly dementia care) contexts. Her teaching specialisms are: research methods and statistics, cognition in creativity and design, social cognition, psychology of fashion and sustainability.
